We’re happy when you are.
While we offer a range of courses, Multisec Training is respected as one of NSW’s leading providers of nationally recognised training to become a security guard, delivered by dedicated and experienced professional trainers.
Our premium security guard training starts with an information session, followed by an application and a pre-security guard training assessment to ensure you are well-equipped to complete the security guard training course. Before you commence our security guard training course, you must also possess a current first aid certificate, which we can help you with if you don’t have one.
The security guard training course begins with a highly interactive and engaging online learning program to give you the knowledge you need to complete the face-to-face classroom security guard training. The face-to-face component of the security guard training course is scheduled for two weeks, over 10 days. We offer security guard training during the week or over the weekend if that suits you better.
Once you have completed the security guard training course, you can apply for a NSW Security Licence, which entitles you to perform security guard work in NSW. Once licensed, you have many career options including static guarding at shopping centres or work sites, crowd control at venues or hotels, or concierge work at office buildings.
You must have completed a first aid training course and have a Provide First Aid HLTAID003 certificate.
Becoming a security guard is a fantastic career for people of all ages, with a large variety of jobs to choose from. They can do mobile or static patrols, or crowd control in hotels, large venues or at music festivals. Being a security guard is highly respected and often involves working with the police or the client to reduce the risk of crime. Although it is for all ages, security guards still need to be physically fit enough to walk and stand for extended periods of time. You will also need good upper body strength to carry, move or restrain people.
Weekday courses start each Monday, and we also offer a calendar of weekend courses. Multisec Training Rooms are located at 15/191 Parramatta Road, Auburn, NSW. We are close to main roads and there is ample parking onsite.
